Just where would al Qaeda get this kind of language come from…?

al-Qaida's No. 2 leader used a racial epithet to insult Barack Obama in a message posted Wednesday, describing the president-elect in demeaning terms that imply he does the bidding of whites.

The message appeared chiefly aimed at persuading Muslims and Arabs that Obama does not represent a change in U.S. policies. Ayman al-Zawahri said in the message, which appeared on militant Web sites, that Obama is "the direct opposite of honorable black Americans" like Malcolm X, the 1960s African-American rights leader.

In al-Qaida's first response to Obama's victory, al-Zawahri also called the president-elect—along with secretaries of state Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice—"house negroes."

Let's see if the progressives start pushing-back al Qaeda.

Someone need get these people on-message and soon.

The Indian navy shipmates must have had a blast, finally being allowed to sink an enemy.

An Indian navy warship has sunk a Somali pirate "mother ship" in the Gulf of Aden, the world's most treacherous waterway, after the renegades threatened to attack the frigate.

The clash happened as pirates claimed to begin negotiations over a ransom for the Saudi super-tanker that was seized nearby on Saturday with two Britons aboard. The Sirius Star, which is carrying at least $100 million worth of oil, is the biggest ship ever to be hijacked.

Hopefully the first of many.

Finally an arrogant, misguided Republican comes clean and lets us all know just whom our (at least so we thought) tax dollars belong.

This would have been nice to know prior to the election.

A few years ago, if we thought Johnny Depp-like characters would have the ability to hold the world shipping lanes hostage, we'd be thinking someone got access to the evidence locker.

But the international community now appears hamstrung and unable to stop pirates from seizing ships, but also unable to come up with a gameplan once they do.

Note to the good guys: al Qaeda is watching.

I'd hate to have a principle-guided, attack dog attorney (on my side of the aisle) on my trail. I'd just fess up and get him off my case.

Simple as that, right?
